Compliant with the 2015 CDM Regulations
Mantra’s CDM safety training course provides delegates with an understanding of the revised Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015. It offers guidance on planning and designing for health and safety within construction projects and the roles and responsibilities encompassed within the CDM Regs.
Checking that working conditions are healthy and safe before work begins, and ensuring that the proposed work is not going to put others at risk, requires planning and organisation.
Course Overview
Mantra’s Construction Design Management Course:
- Provide delegates with a thorough understanding of the legal requirements of the CDM Regulations (2015)
- Details the importance of planning for and designing for integrated safety management within construction projects
- Enables delegates to recognise the consequences of not managing safety within construction and design activities
- Offers guidance on the roles and responsibilities of key duty holders, including clients, CDM co-ordinators, designers, principal contractors and sub-contractors
- To apply knowledge gained to a typical CDM project through workshop-based activity.
Course Content
- Legal requirements as outlined within the CDM Regulations
- Aimed at all those who manage or are involved in construction and demolition-related projects, either directly or via contractors
- CDM documentation
- Integrated safety management.
- Role of recently revised key duty holders (Clients, Principal Designer, Principal Contractor, other contractors)
There is no formal assessment for this course, but delegates completing it successfully, will receive a Mantra certificate of training.
